## About the Role As a Solutions Consultant, Post-Sales, Commercial at Ramp, you will be at the forefront of driving business growth and expansion for high-growth companies. Your technical expertise and financial acumen will enable you to design and recommend best-fit Ramp architecture for customers, ensuring seamless integration with their existing systems and workflows. You will work closely with Account Managers to assess customer requirements, identify opportunities for expansion, and develop customized solutions that meet their unique needs.
The role requires a deep understanding of ERP systems, integration logic, and financial workflows. You will act as a technical advisor to customers and internal teams, guiding integration, configuration, and system design decisions. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value will be essential in driving customer adoption and satisfaction.

## What You Will Do - Partner with Account Managers to demonstrate new Ramp products and features to existing customers, building the business case for expansion through customized demos and workflow illustrations - Evaluate customer requirements for expansion opportunities, assessing fit through use-case analysis, ROI assessments, and technical scoping - Design and recommend best-fit Ramp architecture — including when and how to use APIs, ERP integrations, and HRIS connectors — based on each customer's existing systems and workflows - Act as a technical advisor to customers and internal teams, guiding integration, configuration, and system design decisions - Troubleshoot ERP and integration blockers, and guide customers through complex configuration decisions - Support Account Managers on technical workstreams, ensuring faster time-to-value during product rollouts and expansions - Be a subject matter expert across accounting systems and integration partners - Influence Ramp's product roadmap by channeling customer pain points and feedback to Product and Engineering teams - Contribute to internal documentation, tooling, and knowledge bases that scale Ramp's ability to support integration use cases
## What We Are Looking For - 3+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Technical Consulting, Implementation, or a similar customer-facing technical role in SaaS or fintech - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or a related field - Hands-on familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Fusion) and finance/accounting workflows - Comfort with APIs, integration logic, and technical architecture - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value - Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex customer requirements and develop creative solutions - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
## Nice to Have - Experience with HRIS connectors and other integration partners - Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems and financial workflows - Certification in a relevant field, such as CPA or CIMA
