About the Role
The Solutions Engineer role at DigitalGenius is at the forefront of designing, implementing, and optimizing AI-driven customer service solutions. This position is integral to the company's mission of making online shopping seamless through the use of conversational AI and deep integrations. The role involves working closely with Product and Customer Success Managers to ensure that every solution is scalable, secure, high-performance, and aligned with both business goals and the platform's capabilities.In this role, you will be the technical owner of customer implementations, turning complex e-commerce problems into reliable AI-powered automations. This includes designing flows, wiring up integrations, writing Python, prompting and evaluating Large Language Models (LLMs), and continuously raising the bar on what AI agents can resolve autonomously. The team at DigitalGenius operates with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, collaborating to make all pieces fit together towards a common vision.
What You Will Do
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions on the DigitalGenius platform.
- Configure workflows, AI agents, integrations, and automation logic for complex e-commerce use cases.
- Design and implement APIs and third-party integrations, such as OMS, carriers, and Helpdesk.
- Prompt, tune, and evaluate LLM-powered components, like classifications, extractions, guardrails, and generative replies.
- Lead new use case implementation projects to ensure timely, high-quality launches with measurable automation impact.
- Troubleshoot complex technical challenges across systems, data, and AI behavior.
- Partner with CSMs to align technical delivery with customer outcomes and ROI.
- Advise customers on best practices, scalability, AI strategy, and optimization.
- Support strategic expansions, new channels, and advanced use cases.
- Provide structured feedback to Product based on real-world implementations.
- Identify feature and AI capability gaps and contribute to roadmap discussions.
What We Are Looking For
- An AI-first mindset with a genuine excitement about LLMs and applied AI.
- Experience in automating repetitive tasks and a belief in the potential of AI to replace manual work.
- Strong API and integration experience, including building and debugging.
- Comfort with tools like Postman, JSON, webhooks, auth (tokens, headers, OAuth), pagination, and error handling.
- Ability to translate business requirements into reliable flows, including edge cases, data mapping, retries, and decision logic.
- Experience with Salesforce and similar platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and customer interaction.

- Experience in e-commerce and understanding of its challenges.
- Knowledge of Python and experience in writing scripts for automation.
