About the Role

As a Solutions Engineer at Lakera, you will be the primary technical point of contact for prospects evaluating the company's AI security solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve understanding customer needs, designing tailored solutions, and partnering with the Customer Success team to ensure seamless onboarding. You will be an integral part of the sales process, working closely with the Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. As the company scales, the Solutions Engineer role will play a critical part in accelerating sales velocity, increasing customer success, and refining the product experience.

What You Will Do

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for prospects evaluating Lakera's AI security solutions
• Understand customer needs and design tailored solutions using the company's AI defense platform
• Partner with the Customer Success team to ensure customers onboard quickly and realize value from the platform
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and guides to streamline pre-sales and post-sales workflows
• Support product configuration and deliver minor technical changes required for prospect and customer implementations
• Feed prospect feedback directly into the Product and Engineering teams, helping shape the roadmap and ensure the platform evolves with real-world needs
• Lay the foundation for a scalable Solutions Engineering function by building playbooks and repeatable best practices
• Collaborate with the Sales team to identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI security and apply this knowledge to improve Lakera's solutions and services

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar role
• A track record of managing relationships with large, complex organizations, preferably with a deeply technical enterprise product
• Proficiency coding in Python and Javascript ecosystems
• Experience with enabling large-scale implementations in at least one of the hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Understanding of security, compliance, and IT processes and requirements when implementing B2B products at large enterprises
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a comfort presenting in front of customers
• A track record of working directly with customers of varying sizes, including large enterprises
• An organized, self-starter approach with an eye for finding creative ways to get projects to the finish line
• A passion for what AI can do for the good of humanity and a desire to ensure that it is implemented in a secure and ethical way

Nice to Have

• Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Experience with AI security solutions and a deep understanding of AI defense mechanisms
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git
• Certification in cloud computing, cybersecurity, or a related field
