About the Role
The Solutions Engineer II role at Storyblok is a pivotal position that bridges the gap between technical capabilities and customer needs. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with the sales, product, partner, and customer success teams to design and deliver tailored solutions that address the challenges of enterprise clients. This role is perfect for someone who excels in strategic thinking, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include partner with account executives to identify client needs, lead product demonstrations and technical deep dives, and create and present technical proposals. You will also act as a subject matter expert on the headless content management space, advising clients on best practices, integration strategies, and optimization opportunities.

What You Will Do
- Partner with account executives to identify client needs and articulate how Storyblok can deliver value to enterprise prospects
- Lead product demonstrations and technical deep dives tailored to diverse stakeholder groups, including both technical and non-technical audiences
- Create and present technical proposals, diagrams, and proof-of-concept solutions, as well as sample applications, prototypes, and code samples to showcase the power and flexibility of Storyblok
- Act as a subject matter expert on the headless content management space, advising clients on best practices, integration strategies, and optimization opportunities
- Assist in elevating the knowledge and capabilities of Storyblok's implementation partners
- Lead client onboarding sessions and assist in knowledge transfer to customer success teams post-sale
- Work closely with the product team to communicate client feedback and advocate for feature enhancements
- Represent Storyblok at industry events, webinars, and customer forums
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and sales materials
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or a similar role at a B2B SaaS company
- Past work experience as a web developer or software engineer
- Fluency in English and French is required, fluency in Dutch is a plus
- Familiarity with enterprise software ecosystems and integration practices
- Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in working with monolithic/traditional CMS (e.g., Wordpress, Drupal, Sitecore, Adobe AEM) is an advantage
- Strong understanding of technical sales principles and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Nice to Have
- Experience with headless content management systems
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and cloud migration strategies
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Certification in sales engineering or a related field
- Experience working with remote teams and collaborating with global stakeholders
