About the Role
The Technical Success team at Openai is dedicated to ensuring the safe and effective deployment of AI solutions for developers and enterprises. As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in helping large enterprise customers achieve tangible business value from Openai's models and products. Your day-to-day activities will involve partnering with senior business stakeholders to understand their needs, guiding their AI strategy, and identifying high-value use cases.The role is based in the Paris office, with a hybrid work model that includes three days in the office per week. You will work closely with various teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Security, and Product, to deliver exceptional pre-sales customer experiences and drive business growth.

What You Will Do
- Deliver pre-sales technical expertise to large enterprise customers, outlining the value proposition and answering product, API, and LLM-related questions.
- Demonstrate how Openai's solutions can meet customers' business needs, including building and presenting demos, scoping use cases, and recommending architecture patterns.
- Create and maintain documentation, guides, and FAQs related to common questions and requirements discovered during the pre-sales process.
- Foster customer advocacy by gathering and relaying customer feedback, identifying themes, and incorporating them into product planning.
- Serve as the first line of defense for security and compliance questions, explaining standardized collateral and guiding customers toward relevant resources.
- Partner with Sales teams to develop and execute sales strategies, ensuring alignment with customer needs and Openai's products.
- Collaborate with Customer Success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for customers.
- Work with Product teams to provide feedback and insights from customers, helping to inform product development and roadmaps.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Openai's products, including ChatGPT and the OpenAI API, as well as industry trends and competitor solutions.
- Represent Openai at industry events, conferences, and meetings, promoting its solutions and thought leadership.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales role, with a focus on managing C-level technical and business relationships with complex global organizations.
- Full professional fluency in both French and English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Thorough understanding of IT security principles and customer requirements for technical B2B SaaS products, with experience providing higher-level security and compliance support.
- Industry experience in programming languages like Python or Javascript, and working with REST APIs.
- Experience delivering prototypes of Generative AI/traditional ML solutions, with knowledge of network/cloud architecture.
- Ability to translate business and technical topics to all audiences, including senior leaders, and to own problems end-to-end.
- A humble attitude, eagerness to help colleagues, and a desire to do whatever it takes to make the team succeed.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
