Job Description

About the Role

The Solutions Engineer role at Neat is a unique blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and product advocacy. As the primary product expert and technical resource for the Neat sales teams and partner community, you'll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding Neat's presence in the market. This role is part of the Neat Sales organization, and as such, you'll be compensated with a base pay plus sales achievement bonus, aligning your rewards with the company's overall goals.

Day-to-day, you'll collaborate closely with sales representatives to ensure customers and partners understand the full value of Neat's products, design philosophy, and roadmap. Your technical expertise will be crucial in supporting product evaluations and proofs of concept, making you an indispensable asset to the sales team.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with sales teams and partner representatives to ensure deep understanding of Neat's products and their value proposition.
  • Support several Neat sales representatives in customer opportunities, closely aligning with them on customer strategy and overseeing the technical aspects of product evaluations/proofs of concept.
  • Act as the face of the product development team to the customer and partner community, collecting and responding to feedback and feature requests.
  • Evaluate customer feedback and feature requests based on relevance and communicate them effectively back to the product team.
  • Understand and deliver Neat's product and feature roadmap, providing future-state messaging to partners and customers clearly and effectively.
  • Conduct internal training for the sales teams on how to talk about the value of Neat's technology most effectively and how to do an effective product demo.
  • Co-host webinars or other marketing events to communicate new product and feature releases to the public.
  • Develop and maintain deep technical knowledge of Neat's products and competitive landscape.
  • Work closely with the product development team to stay abreast of upcoming features and roadmap.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong professional background in videoconferencing and commercial audio-visual technologies.
  • Broader knowledge of unified communications and collaboration technologies (web conferencing, IP telephony, etc.).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Native Italian and business-level English required; further European language (Spanish/French) strongly preferred.
  • Experience in sales engineering or a similar role, preferably in the unified communications or video conferencing industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other business apps supported by Neat.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based video conferencing solutions and their integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies and experience with CRM tools.
  • Certification in unified communications or related technologies.
