About the Role

The Solutions Engineer role at Partly is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a unique blend of technical expertise and customer-centric approach. As a key member of the Dismantler Commerce team, you will be responsible for cultivating robust connections between the team and clients, aligning industry demands with customer expectations and technical capabilities. Your knowledge of working with large data sets and ability to pick up technical concepts will be crucial in driving momentum in the business.

The role entails working closely with the Engineering team to develop industry-leading products, providing well-defined requirements and guidelines, and engaging with customers in rigorous testing phases to iterate and improve solutions. You will also be responsible for building integrations, scoping and implementing user-centric solutions, and delivering outstanding results that maximize customer success throughout the onboarding journey.

What You Will Do

  • Become a super-user of Partly's inventory management system, understanding exactly how buyers rely on the platform to find parts that fit their vehicle
  • Scope, develop, and implement user-centric solutions that harness the power of the Partly Platform
  • Build integrations and work closely with the Engineering team to develop industry-leading products
  • Engage with customers in rigorous testing phases to iterate and improve solutions
  • Provide well-defined requirements and guidelines to the Engineering team
  • Deliver outstanding results that maximize customer success throughout the onboarding journey
  • Lead research and development into the optimal experience for one of the company's key customer segments
  • Collaborate with the Dismantler Commerce team to align industry demands with customer expectations and technical capabilities
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

What We Are Looking For

  • A STEM degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including the capacity to convey ideas clearly and persuasively to customers and colleagues
  • Proficiency in analyzing data with Python, Pandas, and SQL
  • A logical and structured approach to problem-solving
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Experience working with large data sets and ability to pick up technical concepts
  • Passion for the automotive industry and understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the sector
  • Strong customer-centric approach and ability to understand customer needs and expectations
