About the Role

The Technical Success team at Openai is dedicated to ensuring customers maximize the benefits of the Openai API platform and ChatGPT business product. As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the customer experience, partnering with senior business stakeholders to understand their pre-sales needs, and guiding their AI strategy. Your expertise will be invaluable in identifying high-value use cases and applications for Openai's models.

The role is based in Delhi, India, and offers a hybrid work model with relocation assistance for new employees. You will be part of a team that is passionate about harnessing the power of AI to drive business value and improve customer experiences.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver exceptional pre-sales customer experiences through technical expertise and guidance on AI strategy
  • Partner with senior business stakeholders to understand their needs and identify high-value use cases
  • Demonstrate the value of Openai's solutions through demos, use case scoping, and proof of concepts
  • Provide technical support and guidance on security and compliance questions
  • Create and maintain documentation, guides, and FAQs related to common questions and requirements
  • Develop and nurture strong customer relationships during the evaluation and purchasing process
  • Foster customer advocacy and represent the voice of the customer with internal teams
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales and GRC teams to ensure a seamless pre-sales experience
  • Identify and escalate complex requirements to the appropriate teams
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Openai's products and services

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer or similar role, managing relationships with large, global, and complex organizations
  • Solid track record of delivering and scaling an exceptional pre-sales customer experience
  • Experience providing higher-level security and compliance support
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of IT security principles and customer requirements for technical B2B SaaS products
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, particularly when engaging with executives and leaders
  • Humble attitude, eagerness to help others, and a desire to pick up whatever knowledge is missing to make both the team and customers succeed
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adept at frequent context switching, and effectively manage working on multiple projects at once
  • Commitment to fostering the safe and ethical evolution of AI

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with AI or machine learning technologies
  • Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure and deployment models
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
  • Certification in a relevant field, such as security or compliance
