About the Role
The Solutions Engineering team at Sentry is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and utilization of Sentry's performance and error monitoring tools among its largest customers. As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer success, working closely with clients to understand their pain points and developing tailored onboarding plans that meet their objectives. Your expertise will help developers identify and resolve slowdowns and errors in their applications, ultimately increasing developer productivity and customer satisfaction.About Sentry

- Understand customers' technical requirements and develop implementation plans to ensure seamless integration of Sentry's tools.
- Collaborate with customers to identify areas for improvement in their software development processes and provide guidance on best practices.
- Develop educational content, such as how-to articles and videos, to help customers get the most out of Sentry's products.
- Act as a subject-matter expert, advising customers on error and performance management, as well as software engineering and monitoring best practices.
- Conduct workshops to drive the adoption and maturity of Sentry's tools among customers.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to provide feedback on the product roadmap and ensure alignment with customer needs.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to support customer onboarding and success.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve customer solutions.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in a solutions engineering, implementation consulting, support engineering, or software development role, with a focus on customer-facing technical work.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, Python, Node.js, Java, PHP, .NET, Ruby, React, and React Native.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude, with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with customers to understand their technical needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
- Familiarity with Excel and other data analysis tools.

- Experience with open-source software and the software development life cycle.
- Knowledge of developer tools and software monitoring technologies.
- Certification in a relevant technical field, such as cloud computing or cybersecurity.
