About the Role
As a Solutions Engineer at Trend Micro, you will play a vital role in providing technical expertise to customers and internal stakeholders. What You Will Do
- Provide technical leadership and expertise to customers and internal stakeholders
- Develop and deliver customized solutions to meet customer needs
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth
- Conduct product demonstrations and trials to showcase Trend Micro's products and services
- Work with the product management team to provide feedback and input on new product development
- Participate in beta testing programs to ensure new products meet customer needs
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
- Provide training and support to customers and internal stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in cybersecurity
- Participate in sales presentations, marketing events, and user group meetings
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the cybersecurity industry
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of computer software, systems, and security products
- Experience working with multi-cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with security products, including firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection, and content security
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience working with customers to understand their technical needs and develop tailored solutions
- Knowledge of industry trends and developments in cybersecurity
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CompTIA Security+ certification is desirable
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Knowledge of cloud architectures and AWS certifications
- Basic understanding of security incidents, network administration, and management of security solutions
- Experience working in a sales engineering or similar role
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
