The role of a Special Education Consultant is critical in ensuring that AI-generated outputs are accurate, reliable, and compliant with special education regulations. What You Will Do
- Review and evaluate AI-generated outputs related to IEP goal writing, accommodation recommendations, and behavioral intervention strategies
- Create realistic scenarios based on special education workflows like IEP meeting documentation and progress monitoring
- Annotate, label, and validate data across special education use cases, ensuring compliance with IDEA and other regulations
- Provide structured feedback on AI accuracy in areas such as federal and state special education law and evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate asynchronously with research teams to refine evaluation frameworks for special education AI
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of special education regulations, laws, and best practices
- Identify and mitigate potential biases in AI-generated outputs
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of AI-generated outputs
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and special education
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of professional experience in special education
- Background in special education classroom instruction, IEP coordination, or applied behavior analysis
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate individualized student support workflows into structured evaluation tasks
- Clear written communication and attention to detail

- Knowledge of special education regulations, laws, and best practices
