Job Description
About the Role
The Instructional Technologist II plays a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality online education at Nightingale College. This role is responsible for providing advanced technical support for faculty, staff, and students, ensuring seamless functionality of the learning management system and integrated instructional technologies. As a key member of the education technology team, the Instructional Technologist II will work closely with faculty to enhance course design, delivery, and learner engagement.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include managing course-level LMS configuration, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing training and support for faculty and students. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education.

What You Will Do
- Provide Tier II support for the Learning Management System and integrated instructional technologies
- Configure courses, assignment settings, gradebook structures, rubrics, and outcomes within institutional standards
- Troubleshoot enrollment, access, submission, and gradebook-related issues
- Support blueprint-aligned course implementations and identify sync-related discrepancies
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of course shells to ensure functionality, accessibility, and proper tool configuration
- Assist with routine testing of tool updates or configuration changes
- Develop and maintain documentation for LMS processes and troubleshooting procedures
- Provide individual consultations and group training on LMS tools and instructional best practices
- Contribute to knowledge base updates and document recurring issue patterns
What We Are Looking For
- 2-4 years of experience supporting LMS platforms or educational technologies
- Strong proficiency in LMS configuration and course design best practices
- Working knowledge of HTML and basic CSS for course formatting and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with LTI tools and integrated instructional technologies
- Ability to independently resolve course-level technical issues
- Strong communication and stakeholder support skills
- Experience with instructional design and educational technology
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

- Experience with learning analytics and data visualization tools
