Job Description

About the Role

Spectrum.Life is expanding its network of affiliate Psychologists and Psychotherapists to provide high-quality, evidence-based therapies that adhere to NICE guidelines. As a member of this network, you will receive referrals directly through a secure portal (Salesforce), offering the flexibility to arrange appointments at times that suit your schedule. This role is crucial in delivering mental health and wellbeing solutions to a diverse client base, contributing to Spectrum.Life's vision of changing and saving as many lives as possible.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role involve working with clients who have been triaged by Spectrum.Life's 24/7 Care Counsellor team. Suitable cases are referred for High Intensity CBT or Psychology sessions, which can be conducted face-to-face, over the phone, or via video. You will be notified by email of new referrals and have 24 hours to accept them, with 5–7 days to offer the first appointment. This flexible model allows you to manage your workload effectively while providing essential services to those in need.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapies to clients in accordance with NICE guidelines.
  • Manage referrals received through the secure Salesforce portal, including accepting referrals and scheduling appointments.
  • Conduct High Intensity CBT or Psychology sessions face-to-face, over the phone, or via video, depending on client needs.
  • Assess and manage risk, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of clients.
  • Work collaboratively with Spectrum.Life's 24/7 Care Counsellor team to ensure seamless client care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and treatment plans.
  • Stay updated with the latest evidence-based therapies and best practices in the field.
  • Participate in continuing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of Spectrum.Life's therapy services.

What We Are Looking For

  • For Psychologists: HCPC registration and BPS accreditation are mandatory, along with a Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
  • Experience in IAPT or stepped-care models, with skills in screening, risk assessment, and evidence-based therapies such as CBT, ACT, EMDR, and IPT.
  • For Psychotherapists: Full BABCP or BACP accreditation and a BABCP-accredited Postgraduate Diploma in High-Intensity CBT are required, along with 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong experience in IAPT, stepped-care, and risk assessment.
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage a varied caseload.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a diverse client base.
  • Proficiency in using digital platforms for client management and communication.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with digital health platforms and technology.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Additional certifications or training in specialized therapies.
  • Experience in research or academics related to psychology or psychotherapy.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, allowing for work with diverse client populations.
