About the Role
The Specialty Billing & Collections Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of billing data for Dragonfly Health's clients and vendors. This position requires a unique blend of analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal abilities. As a key member of the billing team, the analyst will work closely with internal stakeholders and external clients to resolve payment issues and ensure seamless billing operations.The role is part of a dynamic team environment where collaboration and open communication are valued. What You Will Do
- Conduct monthly pre-billing reviews and data quality analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity of invoices
- Process client and provider adjustments to ensure month-end invoices are correct
- Utilize collection techniques to resolve payment issues and escalate collection efforts as necessary
- Submit specialty billing for PACE and Medicaid clients using EDI software portal
- Reconcile EOBs, denied claims, and conduct accounts receivable follow-up
- Update pricing on orders in the system to ensure invoice accuracy
- Function as a key contact person for billing data integrity matters
- Create and develop reports to address management needs and analyze information to identify issues
- Manage special billing and collections projects as assigned
- Protect company intellectual property and customer data privacy
What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
- Medical billing and coding license preferred
- At least two years of billing analytical experience in a team environment
- Experience in the healthcare or medical fields, preferably with durable medical equipment
- Proficient and accurate data-entry skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow standard operating procedures
- Excellent spreadsheet skills, particularly in Excel
- Strong knowledge of business and communications software (MS Office) and web-based tools
Nice to Have
- Experience with DMETrack software
- Knowledge of service level contracts and fee schedules for clients and vendors
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards
