About the Role
The Specialty Business Manager will play a crucial role in developing and implementing business processes that drive sales growth and improve patient outcomes. This position requires a unique blend of business acumen, strategic planning, and industry expertise. As a key member of the team, the Specialty Business Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve analyzing market trends, identifying areas for improvement, and developing targeted sales strategies to drive business growth. The Specialty Business Manager will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including dermatologists and other healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, as well as experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of successful selling experience in the industry are required.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement business processes to drive sales growth and improve patient outcomes
- Analyze market trends and identify areas for improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including dermatologists and other healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
- Develop targeted sales strategies to drive business growth
- Provide training and support to sales teams to ensure successful execution of sales strategies
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and manage budgets to achieve business objectives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to maintain a competitive edge
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or life sciences
- At least 3 years of successful selling experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry
- Experience calling on dermatologists and/or dermatology experience highly preferred
- Strong business and strategic planning skills
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop targeted sales strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong collaboration and team management skills
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel as needed
