About the Role

The Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative role at Amgen is a vital position that connects customers with the company's innovative biotech products. What You Will Do

  • Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals
  • Communicate the clinical benefits of Amgen products to drive appropriate utilization
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to service and manage accounts
  • Customize discussions and customer interactions based on understanding of customer needs
  • Ensure product access and resolve reimbursement issues
  • Maintain product contracts and provide feedback on marketing strategy
  • Analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and territory analysis
  • Develop territory plans with the District Manager
  • Partner with other colleagues to share best practices and seek to learn and grow
  • Demonstrate passion for Amgen products and sustain that passion through the entire sales cycle
  • Uphold Amgen Values and ensure quality in all aspects of the role

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Sales experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
