About the Role
The SQA Engineer role at HR Ways is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to join a leading ecommerce company. As an SQA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products before release. Your day-to-day activities will include developing, documenting, and executing test plans, as well as collaborating with developers and product managers to clarify requirements.The company is looking for a candidate who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure the quality of their ecommerce platform. You will be working closely with the development team to identify and track software defects, and to continuously improve testing processes.
What You Will Do
- Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications
- Perform manual testing to ensure software meets functional, performance, and security requirements
- Identify, record, and track software defects using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure quality standards are met
- Validate bug fixes and software enhancements to ensure proper implementation
- Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to QA best practices
- Monitor and report test results, metrics, and quality trends to management
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the company's QA strategy
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize testing needs
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as an SQA Engineer in ecommerce, warehouse management, and CMS applications
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Postman)
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms
- Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker)
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB)
