About the Role
The Sr. Analyst, Falcon Complete role is a critical part of CrowdStrike's mission to protect organizations from the most advanced cyber threats. This position involves working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with a team of experienced professionals to detect, respond to, and remediate incidents in real-time. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, with expertise in areas such as incident handling, computer forensic analysis, and malware analysis. As a key member of the team, the Sr. Analyst will also contribute to the development and improvement of processes and procedures, ensuring the highest level of service delivery to customers.The role is part of CrowdStrike's virtual security operations center, which offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide variety of cases, expanding skill sets and experience. What You Will Do
- Conduct monitoring and perform in-depth analysis of security alerts to identify potential threats
- Exercise incident handling processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms to contain and remediate incidents
- Perform malware analysis to understand the nature of malware and develop effective countermeasures
- Develop and improve processes for incident detection, triage, and the execution of countermeasures
- Produce high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings to customer management
- Demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and other public speaking events
- Manage internal programs or teams to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
- Serve as the technical escalation point and mentor for lower-level analysts
- Provide oversight and quality assurance for issues worked by lower-level analysts
- Assist in the advancement of security processes and procedures
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in incident handling, with a background in investigating targeted threats such as Advanced Persistent Threat, Organized Crime, and Hactivists
- Strong technical skills, with expertise in areas such as computer forensic analysis, systems administration, and network forensic analysis
- Ability to perform static and dynamic malware analysis
- Experience with a variety of forensic analysis tools and ability to perform analysis of associated network logs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
- Leadership and management experience, with the ability to motivate and guide teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
