About the Role

The Sr. Coupa Pay Success Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the adoption and growth of Coupa Pay among large enterprise clients. This involves a deep understanding of the client's business needs and the ability to tailor solutions that meet those needs, leveraging Coupa's comprehensive spend management platform. The role is not only about technical expertise but also about forging strong partnerships with clients, understanding their long-term business objectives, and aligning Coupa Pay solutions to enhance their operational efficiency and profitability.

The day-to-day entails strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of customer success plans, ensuring that all stakeholders, including external partners and internal teams, are aligned and engaged. Given the nature of the role, the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and compelling manner is essential, both in writing and verbally. The manager will also be responsible for analyzing customer data to identify opportunities for growth and providing insights that can inform business decisions.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute comprehensive customer success plans for strategic clients, ensuring high adoption rates and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand each client's unique business objectives and challenges.
  • Provide product demonstrations and training to clients, showcasing the value proposition of Coupa Pay and its applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer support, and product development, to ensure a cohesive customer experience.
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the adoption and utilization of Coupa Pay.
  • Forge and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at client companies.
  • Travel occasionally to meet with clients and partners, as required.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in B2B payments and spend management.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in Coupa's product offerings, including Coupa Pay, to effectively advise clients on best practices and optimal solutions.
  • Create and deliver reports on customer success metrics, including adoption rates, customer satisfaction, and return on investment.

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a related field, such as B2B payments, digital payments solutions, or spend management.
  • Proven track record of driving customer success and adoption in complex payment solutions.
  • Strong technical understanding of payment systems, including digital payments and working capital solutions.
  • Experience working with large enterprise clients, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent client management skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions, particularly in the finance or procurement sector.
  • Knowledge of industry-leading spend management platforms and payment solutions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Coupa BSM or other financial payment, accounting, and source-to-pay or procurement software.
  • Previous sales or lead consulting experience with applications such as Tipalti, Nvoicepay, Bill.com, Ariba, Concur, NetSuite, Workday, Oracle, or SAP.
  • Certification in a related field, such as payments or procurement.
  • Experience in configuring and delivering software demonstrations.
