What You Will Do
- Provide technical support and training to customers on Beckman Coulter Diagnostics systems
- Install, maintain, and repair instruments, as well as provide basic operation training during installation
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize system performance
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, using advanced technical skills and knowledge of IVD products
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including service requests, issues, and resolutions
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, providing feedback and suggestions for process enhancements
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, troubleshooting guides, and training materials
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies, and emerging trends in the life sciences industry
What We Are Looking For
- Engineering graduate with a B.E./B.Tech. degree
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technical customer support, preferably in the IVD industry
- Advanced technical competency in one or more product lines in IVD
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision
- Strong customer relationship management skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Experience with CRM software, preferably with a focus on call handling and closure
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, using advanced technical skills and knowledge of IVD products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a methodical approach
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in technical field services of IVD products, including hardware and software
- Experience with service revenue generation, including upselling and cross-selling
- Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Certification in a relevant technical field, such as biomedical engineering or a related discipline
