About the Role

The Senior Director of Solutions Engineering & Value Consulting at Webflow is a strategic leadership role that spearheads the pre-sales technical organization. This position is pivotal in driving two of Webflow's highest impact GTM functions: a world-class Solutions Engineering team focused on technical validation through strategic value-based motions, and a Value Consulting practice aimed at creating scalable tooling and frameworks that embed customer value as the core of Webflow's sales and expansion strategy.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and develop a multifunctional team spanning Customer Solutions Engineering, Partner Solutions Engineering, and Value Consulting to drive technical validation and customer value.
  • Establish and lead a second-line management structure, coaching and developing SE managers and functional leads to drive a culture of high performance, continuous growth, and customer obsession.
  • Attract, recruit, and retain exceptional pre-sales talent across all segments and geographies, championing diversity and inclusion as a core organizational value.
  • Develop a competency model and career development framework for the pre-sales organization to ensure continuous skill enhancement and career progression.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product, to align strategies and drive business outcomes.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for the pre-sales organization, aligning with Webflow's overall business objectives and GTM strategy.
  • Embed a customer-centric approach across the pre-sales organization, ensuring that customer needs and value propositions are at the forefront of all technical and consulting engagements.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the pre-sales organization, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance customer value and business outcomes.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in leading pre-sales technical organizations, preferably in a software or SaaS environment, with a strong background in solutions engineering and value consulting.
  • Deep understanding of GTM functions, including sales, marketing, and customer success, with the ability to drive alignment and synergy across these functions.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in developing and leading high-performing teams across diverse locations and cultures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic plans, with a strong focus on customer value, technical validation, and business growth.
  • Familiarity with AI-native platforms and the role of AI in driving digital transformation and customer experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and develop innovative solutions.
