About the Role

The Senior Efficiency and Training Specialist plays a vital role in promoting a strong safety and quality culture across Sunrun's organization. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs, conducting field safety and quality inspections, and providing constructive feedback to field personnel. Your expertise will help drive improvement in key performance indicators, ensuring the company's continued success in the renewable energy sector.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement training programs for field personnel to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
  • Conduct regular field safety and quality inspections to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to field personnel to drive growth and excellence
  • Collaborate with Operations Leaders to develop and implement strategies for improving key performance indicators
  • Lead training sessions and facilitate workshops to promote a strong safety and quality culture
  • Analyze data and develop actionable insights to inform business decisions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with field personnel and Operations Leaders
  • Travel to branch locations to conduct training and inspections (30-60% of the time)
  • Contribute to the development of new training programs and materials

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in the renewable energy sector
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective training programs
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and quality standards
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights
  • Experience with Salesforce and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the solar or energy storage industry
  • Knowledge of construction standard operating procedures
  • Certification in a related field (e.g. OSHA, solar installation)
  • Experience with adult learning principles and instructional design
  • Familiarity with Vector or similar software
