Sr. Epic Certified Systems Analyst - ClinDoc

About the Role

As a Sr. Epic Certified Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimum performance of EpicCare systems and managing complex IT projects. This will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including clinical and operational teams, to identify and prioritize project requirements. Your expertise in Epic ClinDoc will be crucial in driving the success of these projects.

The role is centered around providing high-quality solutions that meet the needs of Inova Health System. You will be working in a fast-paced environment that requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

What You Will Do

• Implement and maintain EpicCare systems and databases to ensure optimum performance
• Manage complex IT projects to provide automated solutions that meet Inova Health System's business needs
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Develop and maintain documentation of EpicCare systems and databases
• Provide training and support to end-users on EpicCare systems
• Analyze and resolve technical issues related to EpicCare systems
• Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and resource allocation plans
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure project success

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 3 years of Epic build and implementation experience
• 3 years of project management techniques in hospital or healthcare environments
• Epic ClinDoc certification
• Strong knowledge of EpicCare systems and databases
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with other Epic modules
• Knowledge of healthcare operations and clinical workflows
• Experience with IT project management in a healthcare setting
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP)
