About the Role

The Sr. Field Marketing Manager position at Commonroom is a critical component of the company's go-to-market strategy. As a key member of the marketing team, you will be responsible for owning the field events calendar, driving pipeline growth, and building strong relationships with key accounts. Your day-to-day activities will involve planning and executing events, managing event logistics, and working closely with sales and SDRs to ensure targeted attendance from priority accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of running events that generate pipeline, experience across various event formats, and a data-driven mindset. You will be expected to think creatively, bring fresh ideas to the table, and make a memorable experience on a reasonable budget. As a collaborator, you will work closely with content and product marketing to develop event messaging, talk tracks, and materials that land with the company's ideal customer profile.

What You Will Do

  • Own Commonroom's field events calendar end-to-end, from planning and budgeting to execution and post-event follow-through
  • Build and run a mix of owned events, such as executive dinners, roundtables, VIP experiences, and hosted meetups, as well as third-party conference sponsorships
  • Work with sales and SDRs to drive targeted attendance from priority accounts, ensuring every event connects to real pipeline opportunity
  • Manage all event logistics, including venue sourcing, vendor relationships, contracts, on-site coordination, and post-event wrap-ups
  • Partner with content and product marketing to develop event messaging, talk tracks, and materials that land with the company's ideal customer profile
  • Build pre- and post-event playbooks that drive strong attendance rates and consistent sales follow-up
  • Track event performance rigorously, using data to improve the program over time
  • Manage the field events budget with a focus on efficiency and return
  • Identify new event formats, conference opportunities, and regional markets as the company scales

What We Are Looking For

  • 6+ years of field marketing or event marketing experience in B2B SaaS
  • Strong track record of running events that generate pipeline, with a focus on revenue growth and customer engagement
  • Experience across various event formats, including executive roundtables, hosted dinners, large-scale conference sponsorships, and regional meetups
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously without dropping details
  • A natural collaborator, with experience working with sales teams to drive targeted attendance and ensure follow-up
