About the Role

The Sr. Financial Analyst role at Intermedia Intelligent Communications is a critical position that requires a unique blend of financial expertise, analytical skills, and business acumen. As a key member of the FP&A organization, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial analysis and business insights that inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth. This role entails working closely with cross-functional teams, including Talent Acquisition, HR, and business leaders, to ensure alignment and drive results.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve managing headcount tracking, maintaining and enhancing HC reporting, and executing core responsibilities in the recurring close and forecast processes. What You Will Do

  • Own end-to-end headcount tracking for functional groups, including reconciliation of active, open, and planned roles
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR, and business leaders to ensure alignment and drive results
  • Maintain and enhance HC reporting, ensuring accuracy across compensation elements
  • Execute core responsibilities in the recurring close and forecast processes, including variance analysis and P&L review
  • Prepare clear and concise commentary that connects performance to business drivers
  • Leverage modern analytical tools to deepen insights and increase speed
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand future drivers and incorporate them into forecasts
  • Support the development of annual plans, monthly/quarterly forecasts by partnering with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance audiences
  • Continuously evaluate processes for scalability, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Help evolve FP&A workflows toward automation-first and insight-driven models

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role
  • Proven experience in FP&A processes, including hands-on experience supporting the month-end close process
  • Strong modeling skills with expertise in Excel, financial systems (e.g., Netsuite, Adaptive, Salesforce)
  • Ability to simplify complex financial data for senior leadership
  • Experience in the SaaS and/or unicorn sector is a plus
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and thrive in a culture of transparency and accountability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI-enabled tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or other customized tools/models leveraging AI)
  • Certification in finance or a related field (e.g., CFA, CPA)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
