About the Role
The Sr. Global Event Manager, Content Strategy and Production, plays a vital role in shaping Twilio's event experiences, from flagship conferences to internal meetings. As a seasoned event professional, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and product priorities. Your expertise in event production, content creation, and speaker management will be essential in creating engaging, high-quality experiences for attendees.Twilio's commitment to remote-first work and global inclusion means that you will be working with a diverse team of professionals from around the world. As a key member of the Global Events team, you will report to the Director of Global Events and work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Brand, Creative, and Sales.
What You Will Do
- Lead the development of event content strategies, agendas, and production plans for Twilio's flagship events, including SIGNAL and SKO.
- Translate business objectives, product priorities, and executive direction into clear event experiences.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Sales.
- Partner with external vendors, including production companies, speakers, and sponsors.
- Oversee the development of event marketing materials, including websites, social media, and email campaigns.
- Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics.
- Collaborate with the Global Events team to develop and implement event production standards.
- Define and maintain production standards across general sessions, breakouts, livestream, and on-demand content.
- Develop and manage speaker readiness strategies, including rehearsal approaches and onsite support models.
- Guide content operations workflows, including call for presentations, CMS management, and agenda data.
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in event management, content strategy, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of event production, content creation, and speaker management.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex logistics.
- Experience with GTM and Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
