About the Role
The Senior HRIS Analyst role at Huntington Health is a critical position that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, data analysis skills, and knowledge of human resources principles. As a key member of the HR team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of all HR-related applications, supporting the overall HR technology strategy and providing systems implementation and administration, reporting, and analysis for improved decision-making. The role involves collaborating with HR team members and subject matter experts across the organization to implement processes and functionality that increase the efficiency and quality of HR services, while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.The Senior HRIS Analyst will work in a fast-paced environment, analyzing data from multiple systems, supporting various vendor software applications, and relying on experience and independent technical judgment to provide solutions. The role may require flexibility of hours and the ability to work independently, achieving tight deadlines and taking initiative on multiple projects.
What You Will Do
- Administer and maintain all HR-related applications to support the Human Resources function
- Support the overall HR technology strategy and provide systems implementation and administration, reporting, and analysis for improved decision-making
- Collaborate with HR team members and subject matter experts across the organization to implement processes and functionality that increase the efficiency and quality of HR services
- Perform data analysis from multiple data systems and support various vendor software applications
- Rely on experience and independent technical judgment to provide solutions
- Work with HR team members to implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain data integrity and confidentiality
- Support various HR-related projects and initiatives
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Workday reporting tools, Crystal Reports, or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Create and modify system interface files as needed
- Provide technical support and training to HR staff on HR systems and applications
What We Are Looking For
- Associate Degree or equivalent related experience, with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or a related field highly preferred
- Minimum five years of HCM, Payroll, and timekeeping application maintenance and support, systems analysis, and ad-hoc reporting experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Workday (HCM, Payroll, Absence) functional and technical experience required
- MS Access, SQL, or other database/reporting tools experience required
- Experience with Workday integration, design, and maintenance preferred
- Experience with UKG timekeeping and scheduling preferred
- HCM software implementation experience is a plus
- Prior support of Oracle Cloud HCM is a plus
- Current Workday certifications, including Human Capital Management (HCM), Payroll, Absence, Recruiting, Reporting, or Integrations, are preferred
- Customer PRO certification is acceptable
Nice to Have
- Experience with project management and leading cross-functional teams
- Advanced knowledge of report development using Workday reporting tools, Crystal Reports, or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Experience creating and modifying system interface files
- Advanced skills using various Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUp, Macros), PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Publisher
