Job Description

About the Role

The Sr IBM i Platform & Power Systems Engineer will plan, design, implement, and support server systems, including Windows OS, Linux OS, IBMi OS, and hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support and troubleshooting for server Windows and Compute stack environments
  • Conduct triage and resolution of server issues and outages
  • Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders for escalation-related activities
  • Design, implement, and operate complex solutions

Requirements

  • Four or more years of experience in the field or a related area
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, customer service, problem-solving, and cross-team collaboration skills

Nice to Have

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related field
