As a remote worker, you will be part of a global team that values flexibility, work-life balance, and open communication. ## What You Will Do - Administer and maintain IRIS for Health integration platform environments across AWS EC2 instances, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability - Manage Linux-based servers, configure network security, perform system maintenance, implement security patches, and optimize system performance across development, staging, and production environments - Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using CodeFresh/GitLab to automate deployment processes and ensure consistent, reliable releases - Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot IRIS for Health integrations with customer EHRs (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts), ensuring optimal performance and reliability - Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline environment provisioning, deployment processes, and routine maintenance tasks - Implement and maintain infrastructure automation using modern DevOps practices and tools - Set up comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging systems; participate in rotating on-call schedule for critical production support - Analyze system performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve platform reliability and efficiency - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain complex systems, leveraging your strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail ## What We Are Looking For - Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or 10 years of equivalent experience - At least 5 years of experience in system administration, DevOps, or SRE roles - Strong Linux/Unix administration skills with proficiency in command-line operations and shell scripting - Experience with InterSystems Cache' and IRIS for Health platform administration - Hands-on experience with AWS services with ability to manage cloud infrastructure - Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Cache ObjectScript, Bash, JavaScript) for automation and tooling - CI/CD pipeline experience with CodeFresh, GitLab, or similar platforms - Understanding of healthcare integration standards (HL7, FHIR) and interface engines - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in distributed systems ## Nice to Have - IRIS for Health certifications or expertise in the integration engine system administration - AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer) - Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform) - Container orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes) - Configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) - Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) ## Benefits and Perks - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunity to work with a pioneering company in cardiac health solutions - Collaborative and dynamic work environment - Flexible remote work arrangements - Professional development opportunities - Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools - Comprehensive health insurance and wellness programs - Generous paid time off and holidays - Employee recognition and reward programs
