About the Role

The Sr. Manager Collaboration and Service Governance plays a critical role in RTX's digital transformation journey, focusing on the standardization of services across the organization. This involves ensuring synergies, compliance, and services are aligned with the company's goals, while continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies. The role is highly hands-on, requiring the leader to be deeply involved in running projects, managing reporting and trends, and ensuring alignment across multiple workstreams.

As a leader within the Collaboration & Digital Workplace (CDW) organization, this position is responsible for a small team of analysts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and developing highly skilled and motivated teams, with a strong emphasis on clear goal setting and ongoing coaching. The role also demands strong partnership skills, as the Sr. Manager will need to work closely with cross-functional teams and ensure alignment between CDW leadership and operations.

What You Will Do

  • Lead CDW initiatives and drive process, tool, and workflow standardization across the organization
  • Manage and develop a team of analysts with clear goals and ongoing coaching for professional growth
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between CDW leadership and operations
  • Represent CDW across the company as it relates to services, promoting a culture of collaboration and efficiency
  • Track initiative progress and maintain documentation, standards, reporting, and team administrative lists
  • Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery plans and perform regular risk assessments to ensure operational resilience
  • Create, update, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for critical CDW processes
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that enhance service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, service delivery, processes, and financial and data governance

What We Are Looking For

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience
  • At least 7 years of experience managing and developing highly skilled and motivated teams
  • Strong understanding of service governance and its application in a digital workplace setting
  • Experience with project management, particularly in leading or starting initiatives
  • Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow or Power BI for reporting and analytics
  • Strong problem-solving, organization, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision and as part of a distributed team

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in HR, particularly in managing teams and developing talent
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile) or experience leading projects
  • Experience with collaboration tools and platforms
  • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
