Job Description

About the Role

The Sr. Manager Demand & Supply Planning at Meyer will play a critical role in leading the integrated planning function for the Hestan Culinary division. This role entails driving business growth through effective demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of forecasting, S&OP processes, and supply chain management.

As a key member of the leadership team, the Sr. Manager Demand & Supply Planning will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to drive business outcomes. The role requires a high degree of analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

The Sr. Manager Demand & Supply Planning will report to the Director of Supply Chain and will be responsible for managing and developing a team of demand and supply planners.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the development and implementation of demand and supply planning strategies to drive business growth
  • Manage and analyze forecasting data to inform demand and supply planning decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and operations teams
  • Lead the S&OP process to ensure alignment between demand and supply planning
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels to minimize costs and maximize service levels
  • Analyze and resolve supply chain disruptions and exceptions
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to develop and implement inventory management strategies
  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for demand and supply planning
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness

What We Are Looking For

  • 8-12+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or integrated business planning
  • Experience in consumer goods, retail, or eCommerce, with a preference for durable goods like cookware
  • Proven track record of leading S&OP/IBP processes and managing demand and supply planning teams
  • Strong understanding of forecasting and supply/inventory planning principles
  • Experience with planning systems, such as SAP IBP, Oracle, Anaplan, NetSuite, or similar
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage and develop teams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Knowledge of lean principles and agile methodologies
  • Experience with cloud-based planning systems
  • Certification in supply chain management or a related field
