About the Role

What You Will Do
- Provide medical case management services to patients and employees in a remote setting with occasional local field travel
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions and develop personalized case management plans
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure coordination of care and optimal patient outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, employees, and stakeholders to provide updates on case management services
- Utilize digital tools and technology to streamline case management processes and improve efficiency
- Develop and maintain accurate records of case management activities and patient interactions
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in case management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance case management services
- Foster strong relationships with patients, employees, and healthcare providers to promote exceptional customer service
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in case management services
What We Are Looking For
- RN degree from an accredited institution
- National Certification in case management (CCM, CRC, COHN, CRRN)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in workers' comp case management
- Strong understanding of workers' comp laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in digital tools and technology, including electronic medical records and case management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Nice to Have
- Experience with workers' comp case management software and systems
- Knowledge of CMSA Standards of Practice and URAC standards
- Certification in a specialized area of case management (e.g., disability management, occupational health)
- Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment
- Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
