Job Description

About the Role

The Sr Paralegal role at Life360 is a critical position that supports the company's commercial contracting, litigation, and intellectual property teams. As a key member of the Legal team, you will work closely with various departments, including Ads, Finance, Product, and Devices, to provide client-focused legal services and advice. Your expertise will enable the company's consumer software and hardware business lines, as well as its new advertising initiatives, to grow and thrive.

The Sr Paralegal role requires strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage large request volumes while maintaining a collaborative environment. You will report to the Deputy General Counsel for Commercial, Litigation, and Intellectual Property, and your work will have a direct impact on the company's success.

What You Will Do

  • Manage NDAs, including negotiation, redlining, and processing through signature
  • Support all commercial contracting work, including version control, managing contract signature and archiving processes, and tracking renewals and extensions
  • Become the Legal team's expert on procurement platform and sales CRM platform
  • Manage and update online Terms and templates, draft and manage contract terminations and correspondence, track contract metrics, and proofread contracts as needed
  • Create and manage dockets and files following appropriate naming conventions for commercial, litigation, and IP matters
  • Receive and triage incoming email/notifications to the Legal team, and support the response process for law enforcement requests
  • Assist with legal escalations from the Customer Support team and document collection and discovery
  • Support brand protection matters, including maintaining and updating templates, and manage the company's DMCA compliance program
  • Help create and manage the docket and files for the company's worldwide Intellectual Property portfolio

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, pre-law, or a related field
  • 4+ years of paralegal experience, including at least 1 year of in-house experience at a consumer technology company
  • Significant hands-on experience with contract management processes and tools for redlining, e-signature, and archiving
  • Experience with CLM and CRM tools, and familiarity with litigation process and docketing
  • Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage large request volumes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances

  • Experience creating processes and managing contract metrics
  • Familiarity with intellectual property law and brand protection matters
  • Knowledge of procurement platforms and sales CRM platforms
