About the Role
The Sr. Regional Commercial Finance Manager is a critical component of Jabil's finance team, responsible for driving business performance and growth. This role entails providing financial guidance and support to the business, supply chain, and operations teams, while ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy. As a key member of the regional finance team, you will work closely with plant finance controllers, operational teams, and other stakeholders to drive improvement in core operating income and working capital metrics.The Sr. Regional Commercial Finance Manager will be based in the United States, with a strong preference for on-site presence at Jabil's Corporate St. Petersburg, FL facility. However, remote work arrangements will be considered for the right candidate. The role requires frequent travel to various manufacturing plants domestically, with an estimated 50% travel requirement.
What You Will Do
- Provide financial advice and assistance on business issues, leveraging your knowledge of the business environment to drive informed decision-making.
- Conduct independent evaluations of financial forecasts, assessing financial risks and opportunities to inform business strategy.
- Support and monitor business opportunities, reviewing quoting and business proposals to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Drive improvement in core operating income and working capital metrics, identifying key drivers of income and working capital to maximize benefits to Jabil.
- Engage with plant finance controllers and operational teams to review operational metrics and KPIs, ensuring manufacturing performance is measured appropriately.
- Contribute to current quarter operating metrics and long-term planning, actively engaging with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
- Support supply chain development management, identifying initiatives that improve company material margin and working capital.
- Seek opportunities to add value to current processes, information systems, and business growth.
- Support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting, providing financial modeling support to business and operational teams.
- Identify and challenge cost structures, providing decision-support analysis to inform commercial terms of contractual and vendor relationships.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- At least 10-12 years of relevant experience, preferably in a regionalized position, with a strong background in manufacturing finance.
- Public accounting experience is preferred, with knowledge of US GAAP and SOX.
- Proven track record of delivery and experience in driving business performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide financial guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel, with experience in financial modeling and forecasting.
