Sr Salesforce Developer (CPQ)

About the Role

The role entails working closely with various stakeholders to design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions that meet the company's growing needs. Your day-to-day activities will include building and maintaining complex Salesforce configurations, integrating Salesforce with other systems, and ensuring data integrity and security. Zuora's Corporate Operations team is dedicated to bridging the gap between technology and business needs. As a Sr Salesforce Developer, you will be instrumental in this effort, working to create seamless integrations between Salesforce and other internal platforms, such as NetSuite and Slack. Your contributions will directly impact the company's ability to launch new products, automate billing, and unlock recurring revenue streams.

What You Will Do

• Design and build complex Salesforce configurations to meet business requirements
• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other internal platforms using APIs, events, and webhooks
• Ensure data integrity and security within Salesforce, adhering to company standards and best practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the enterprise to deliver solutions that improve business operations
• Rapidly prototype and ship AI-powered internal tools, leveraging modern AI coding assistants and vibe coding environments
• Parse, understand, and enhance existing internal codebases, integrating AI capabilities without disrupting production workflows
• Architect advanced RAG pipelines and agentic workflows that bring context-aware intelligence to internal knowledge and operational systems
• Implement rigorous evaluation and testing approaches for AI outputs to ensure accuracy, security, and trust
• Lead troubleshooting for production issues in AI-enabled workflows and perform root-cause analysis
• Assist colleagues with design and coding best practices, including code reviews, documentation, and maintainable implementation patterns
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture and adjacent teams to ensure AI integrations align with the broader digital ecosystem

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of relevant work experience in Salesforce development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• Strong experience building integrations with REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware technologies
• Demonstrated expertise in AI-augmented programming and vibe coding
• Exceptional ability to understand and implement enhancements or integrations safely in existing codebases
• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases, prompt engineering, and RAG design patterns
• Experience designing or contributing to agentic workflows and context-aware AI applications
• Strong problem-solving instincts and the ability to figure out how systems work without waiting
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Salesforce CPQ and its applications in subscription-based models
• Knowledge of data analysis and AI-driven solutions in a business context
• Certification in Salesforce development or a related field
