About the Role
As a Sr. Support Specialist at Globalization Partners, you will be an integral part of the Support Team, responsible for handling day-to-day queries from customers and professionals across the region. Your expertise in IT, HR, and finance will be crucial in resolving complex issues and providing top-notch support. The company's SaaS-based Global Employment Platform enables clients to expand into over 180 countries, and as a support specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of this platform.The Support Team at Globalization Partners is a dynamic and diverse group of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional support to customers and professionals. As a Sr. Support Specialist, you will be working closely with the team to resolve queries, provide training, and develop process improvements. What You Will Do
- Provide exceptional support to customers and professionals across the region, resolving HR, IT, and finance queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Develop and maintain expertise in Excel, Zoho Absence Management, and other tools to provide top-notch support
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, Finance, and Customer Success teams, to resolve complex issues and develop process improvements
- Communicate effectively with customers and professionals via email, phone, and other means of communication to resolve queries and concerns
- Organize and maintain employee records via the company's proprietary platform, inputting, updating, and maintaining customer and professional personal data
- Process various forms related to documenting human resources activities, such as new hire, change of status, benefits, and terminations
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including insurance vendors, local service providers, and pension providers
- Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant data, such as absences and bonuses
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in IT, HR, or finance support, with a strong understanding of employee life cycle processes
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, with the ability to develop and maintain complex spreadsheets
- Experience with Zoho Absence Management, Zendesk, or Service Now IT ticket triaging
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, professionals, and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional support
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
- Knowledge of HR systems and processes, including data management, time and expense management, and benefits administration
- Certification in ITIL or other relevant certifications
- Experience with project management tools, such as Asana or Trello
