About the Role

As a Sr. Technical Account Manager at Wiz, you will play a critical role in driving customer adoption and providing technical guidance to ensure the successful implementation of Wiz's cloud security platform. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing strategic and technical guidance throughout their Wiz journey. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, you will work closely with the sales, engineering, and support teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience.

The Sr. Technical Account Manager role is a key component of Wiz's customer success strategy, and you will be responsible for managing a book of up to 15 customers, depending on size and complexity. Your primary objective will be to drive adoption, business value realization, and customer satisfaction, ensuring that customers are delighted with their Wiz purchase and are seeing measurable value from their investment.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, providing strategic and technical guidance throughout their Wiz journey
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and use of the Wiz platform
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers, addressing technical questions and issues via email, meetings, Slack, and support tickets
  • Continuously monitor news related to emerging cloud security threats and develop your domain expertise
  • Stay up-to-date with new Wiz features and functionality, ensuring that customers are aware of the latest developments and how they can leverage them to drive business value
  • Drive adoption, business value realization, and customer satisfaction, ensuring that customers are delighted with their Wiz purchase and are seeing measurable value from their investment
  • Develop success plans with measurable goals for customers, aligning with their organizational security and compliance objectives
  • Act proactively to address customer needs, leading them on a journey to full adoption and value
  • Promote excellence in addressing Cloud, Code, and Runtime security risk
  • Assist customers in project managing Wiz adoption and operationalization goals across business units and stakeholders
  • Unblock adoption as necessary, working with internal and external parties to resolve people, process, and technology issues

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical account management or similar role, with a strong background in cloud security
  • Strong technical expertise, with experience in GTM and Excel
  • Excellent customer-facing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven track record of driving adoption, business value realization, and customer satisfaction
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and support
  • Strong domain expertise in cloud security, with a deep understanding of emerging threats and trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft executive-friendly communications and QBRs/executive briefings

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with cloud security platforms, with a strong understanding of the cloud security landscape
  • Certification in cloud security, such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
