About the Role
The Senior Technical Customer Success Manager is a key position at Amplitude, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and driving the adoption of Amplitude's AI analytics platform. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role based in Germany, and the ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering customer success. As a Technical Customer Success Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for Amplitude's customers, responsible for understanding their technical ecosystems and providing expert-level guidance on how to get the most out of the platform. You will work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans to drive growth and expansion. - Develop and execute strategic plans to drive customer growth and expansion
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their technical ecosystems and providing expert-level guidance
- Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans
- Provide technical expertise to customers, including deployment, adoption, and outcomes
- Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute plans for driving results within the portfolio
- Leverage customer data to proactively monitor account health, drive adoption, and identify opportunities
- Provide expertise to help customers derive valuable insights from Amplitude's platform
- Gain a deep understanding of the business needs of clients and how Amplitude provides value
- Plan and deliver value-based business reviews with client executives
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the tech industry
- Strong technical background, with expertise in data foundations, taxonomy, instrumentation patterns, and architecture
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
- Proven track record of delivering customer success and driving growth
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to connect product outcomes to commercial value and executive priorities
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to wear many hats
- Strong organization, problem-solving, and time management skills
Nice to Have
- Experience working with AI analytics platforms, preferably Amplitude
- Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools
- Certification in a related field, such as data science or customer success
