About the Role
The Senior Technical Product Manager role at GE Vernova is a critical position that oversees the implementation of assigned digital engineering products. This involves leading a cross-functional team of designers, architects, system engineers, and software developers through the entire product lifecycle, from design to testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a clear and descriptive set of requirements that enables the quality delivery of product features and functionality.As a key member of the product team, you will work closely with stakeholders, including product managers, technical anchors, service owners, and developers, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of perspectives. Your priority will be to balance business, technical, and customer requirements to create and maintain a high-quality product.

What You Will Do
- Own and manage digital/software product and system definitions, requirements, specifications, roadmap, and lifecycle
- Manage the backlog, continuously ordering and prioritizing features and backlog items
- Demonstrate advanced problem decomposition skills and the ability to navigate through ambiguity in work requests/requirements
- Ensure that policies are followed, schedules are met, and risks are understood and documented
- Lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements
- Explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus
- Use multiple internal and limited external sources to arrive at decisions
- Use judgment and tools to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems
- Contribute to strategy and policy development and ensure quality delivery within the area of responsibility
- Possess a deep understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product
- Understand component and product integration across related system functions
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors and a minimum of 3 years of experience in software business analysis, software engineering, software quality assurance, or software product management
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to break down, document, analyze, and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability in project/program management skills application
- Superior persuasion and influencing skills to ensure alignment between customer, product manager, and engineering teams
- Software development knowledge in the areas of requirements, documentation, and testing
- Ability to take the initiative to learn about and analyze alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
- Strong understanding of digital engineering products and their implementation
