About the Role
The Workflow Engine team at Stripe provides critical infrastructure for the company's business, enabling engineers to write asynchronous, stateful workflows that are reliable and fault-oblivious. As a Staff Engineer on this team, you will guide the service platform's asynchronous execution capabilities, focusing on scalability, reliability, and a seamless developer experience.Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core infrastructure for asynchronous financial data and transaction processing.
- Liaise with teams using this infrastructure to ensure it meets their needs and expectations.
- Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack, including managing an on-call pager rotation.
- Plan for the growth of Stripe's asynchronous infrastructure, analyzing software for performance optimizations and quality assurance.
