About the Role
As a Staff Executive Business Partner at Gitlab, you will play a critical role in supporting the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in driving the company's engineering, product, and customer outcomes. You will be responsible for managing the CTO's day-to-day operations, ensuring that their time, information, and priorities are aligned with the company's goals. This will involve managing complex calendars, orchestrating travel and events, and turning high-level ideas into clear agendas and materials.The CTO's operating tempo is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring an Executive Business Partner who can exercise independent judgment and bring structure and calm to ambiguity. You will need to be able to proactively flag risks and opportunities, and contribute to the broader EBA community through shared practices and coverage.

What You Will Do
- Own day-to-day executive operations for the CTO, anticipating needs and managing priorities
- Manage complex calendars, protecting focus blocks and resolving conflicts across time zones
- Orchestrate end-to-end travel and events, ensuring that all necessary materials and information are available
- Turn high-level ideas and meeting topics into clear agendas, materials, and follow-through
- Collaborate closely with other Executive Business Administrators, Chiefs of Staff, and leaders across Gitlab
- Maintain clear communication and track deliverables across organizational boundaries
- Support hiring, onboarding, and engagement activities for a large, globally distributed technical organization
- Use tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Navan, GitLab, and AI solutions to streamline workflows and anticipate needs
- Proactively flag risks and opportunities, and contribute to the broader EBA community through shared practices and coverage
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with the CTO and their teams
- Exercise independent judgment and bring structure and calm to ambiguity
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Business Partner or in a similar role
- Proven track record of supporting C-level executives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and bring structure and calm to ambiguity
- Experience with GTM, Adjust, and programmatic advertising
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn high-level ideas into clear agendas and materials
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, Security, and People Operations
- Strong knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Navan, GitLab, and AI solutions
- Ability to work in a remote environment and collaborate with globally distributed teams
Nice to Have
- Experience working in the tech industry, preferably in a company with a similar size and scope to Gitlab
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and the intelligent orchestration platform
- Experience with hiring, onboarding, and engagement activities for large, globally distributed technical organizations
- Certification in project management or a related field
- Experience working with AI solutions and machine learning algorithms
