About the Role
As a Staff Frontend Engineer at ZenRows, you will be responsible for taking product and technical ownership of the company's frontend development. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside dedicated backend engineers, contributing to the development of backend services and APIs. Your primary focus will be on frontend development, but you will also have the chance to collaborate with the backend team, ensuring seamless integration and operability of the company's systems.The role entails working on features end-to-end, from conceptualization to deployment, and ensuring that all developments align with the company's AI-driven product strategy. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where innovation and experimentation are encouraged, and your contributions will have a direct impact on the company's core product success rate, customer SLAs, and billing accuracy.
What You Will Do
- Own features end-to-end, including development, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with the backend team to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend services
- Build features with an AI-first mindset, utilizing AI technologies to drive product innovation
- Instrument and monitor the performance of developed features
- Run experiments to optimize feature performance and user experience
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align product development with business objectives
- Set the technical bar for frontend engineering, driving best practices and standards
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of backend services and APIs
- Collaborate with the product team to define product requirements and roadmaps
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to company standards
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of frontend/product engineering experience
- Deep expertise in React and its ecosystem
- A genuine product mindset, with experience in product development and ownership
- Active, hands-on experience with AI technologies and their application in product development
- Experience with funnel analytics and instrumentation, including tools like Google Analytics
- Comfort working against APIs built by others, with experience in API integration and development
- Strong understanding of software development principles, including testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Experience working in agile development environments, with familiarity with tools like Jira or Asana
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams
