Job Description

About the Role

As a Staff Process Integration Engineer at CommandLink, you will be responsible for supporting the development and production of superconducting IC fabrication processes at partner foundries. This role is critical to the company's mission to deliver innovative quantum computing systems, software, and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including process engineering, device engineering, and manufacturing.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes, including process integration, yield, performance, and reliability interactions. You will be expected to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop strategies to optimize process integration. Your strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills will enable you to thrive in this fast-paced, results-driven environment.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement process integration strategies to improve yield, performance, and reliability of superconducting IC fabrication processes
  • Collaborate with process engineering teams to design, develop, and qualify new process flows
  • Work with device engineering teams to develop and optimize device structures and process conditions
  • Analyze and troubleshoot process-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures, and technical reports
  • Participate in failure analysis and yield enhancement activities to improve process performance
  • Develop and implement statistical process control methods to monitor and control process variations
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to develop and implement process improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in semiconductor fabrication and process integration

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in process integration, preferably in the semiconductor industry
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes, including lithography, etch, deposition, and metrology
  • Experience with LSI manufacturing or semiconductor R&D, including yield optimization and process control
  • Strong understanding of process integration, yield, performance, and reliability interactions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

  • Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as Physics, Chemistry, or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with quantum computing systems, software, and services
  • Knowledge of statistical process control methods and yield enhancement techniques
  • Familiarity with industry-standard process simulation tools and software
