About the Role

The Staff Product Engineer at LawnStarter is a pivotal role that embodies the spirit of innovation and technical leadership. As a key member of a small, focused initiative team, you will work closely with a Product Manager and a designer, supported by an Engineering Manager. What You Will Do

  • Lead the technical approach for your initiatives, including architecture, data models, and integration choices.
  • Direct AI agents in implementing code, ensuring it meets the company's quality and security standards.
  • Develop and implement the necessary tests, evaluations, and guardrails to validate the code quality.
  • Collaborate with your Product Manager and designer to shape the product vision and technical roadmap.
  • Work closely with your Engineering Manager to grow your technical skills and address any challenges.
  • Participate in the planning, execution, and post-launch review of your initiatives.
  • Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of the systems you develop.
