## About the Role As a Staff Product Manager at Netlify, you will play a critical role in defining and evolving the company's monetization model. You will bring a strong point of view to the table, partnering across the organization to make high-impact decisions that drive business growth. Your expertise in digital skills, remote work, and product management will be essential in shaping the future of Netlify's pricing and packaging strategy.

Netlify's Accounts and Billing area is at the center of the company's growth, touching finance, growth, UX, sales, and the executive team. You will work closely with senior leaders, including the CEO and CFO, to develop and execute a pricing and packaging strategy that balances customer value, business goals, and long-term sustainability.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading pricing, packaging, and monetization initiatives for developer-focused, SaaS, or usage-based products. You will have a deep understanding of usage-based business models, including metering, tiering, overages, enterprise commitments, and discounting.

## What You Will Do - Lead the strategy and evolution of pricing, packaging, and monetization, including plans and tiers, credit and usage models, seat-versus-consumption economics, on-demand and overage rates, enterprise commitments, and discounting - Ship billing as a product, focusing on metering accuracy, invoicing, payments, refunds, and customer-facing usage visibility - Steward the accounts foundation, including sign-up and authentication, identity, orgs and teams, roles and permissions, account security, and fraud and abuse - Build and lead the pricing and packaging experimentation program, using data, customer insight, and sound judgment to guide decisions - Partner with finance to develop pricing approaches that balance customer value, business goals, and long-term sustainability - Partner with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to set priorities, evaluate tradeoffs, and drive alignment on the most impactful opportunities - Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and execute a pricing and packaging strategy that drives business growth - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape

## What We Are Looking For - 7+ years of product management experience, including experience leading pricing, packaging, monetization, or other commercially significant product initiatives - Deep experience with usage-based, credit-based, subscription, or seat-based business models - Hands-on depth with billing platforms, billing pipelines, and ledgers - A track record of driving measurable business outcomes, including revenue impact, through product strategy, experimentation, and execution - Comfort in ambiguity, with the ability to identify missing information, frame tradeoffs, and develop a point of view - Demonstrated ability to influence decisions across finance, sales, UX, and engineering - Experience with data analysis, customer insight, and product judgment

## Nice to Have - Experience monetizing AI, agent, inference, or other usage-based products - Familiarity with token, credit, or consumption-based pricing models - Experience with international and regional pricing and non-US payment methods - Familiarity with product analytics, conversion rates, and customer insight
