About the Role
The Staff Product Manager, AI, will play a critical role in developing the next generation of Lattice's AI-native product suite. This involves owning and scaling new areas of the suite, from early product to broad adoption, and designing systems that integrate data capture, AI synthesis, and workflows. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of what makes AI effective in a trust-critical product, ensuring transparency, evidence-backed decisions, and user control.As a key member of the product team, the Staff Product Manager, AI, will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Reviews, Grow, and Calibration, to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly. This role requires a builder mindset, with the ability to prototype, work in design tools, and leverage modern AI tools to accelerate product development. The ability to lead through ambiguity, own the hardest product questions, and make clear, confident tradeoffs is essential.
What You Will Do
- Own and scale a new area of Lattice's AI-native suite, driving it from early product to broad adoption.
- Design systems that integrate data capture, AI synthesis, and workflows, focusing on the full loop from idea to shipped product.
- Define and implement transparent, evidence-backed AI solutions that prioritize user control and trust.
- Partner deeply with Reviews, Grow, and Calibration teams to integrate AI into core Lattice products.
- Lead through ambiguity and own the hardest product questions, driving decisions with strong product judgment.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure AI solutions meet customer needs and company goals.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitors in the AI and product development space.
- Identify and prioritize the highest-leverage opportunities, focusing teams on what matters most and driving velocity in product development.
- Build, prototype, and test AI-native products, using modern AI tools and methodologies to accelerate development.
- Work closely with the GTM team to ensure successful launch and adoption of new AI-driven products.
What We Are Looking For
- 7 to 12+ years of experience building complex, data-rich, or workflow-heavy products, with a strong focus on AI and machine learning.
- A builder mindset, with the ability to prototype, work in design tools, and leverage modern AI tools to accelerate product development.
- Strong prioritization skills, with the ability to identify the highest-leverage opportunities and focus teams accordingly.
- High agency, ownership, and initiative, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
- Experience with GTM, including launch and adoption strategies for new products.
- Excellent customer obsession, with a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to shape decisions around these needs.
- Strong product judgment, with a clear perspective on quality, trust, and user experience.
- AI/ML experience, both in products shipped and tools used, with judgment about when not to use AI.
- GM-style collaboration across eng, design, data, legal, and GTM teams, with the ability to make the people around you better.
- Comfort with data, including the ability to write SQL, read dashboards, and pressure-test metrics without waiting for an analyst.
Nice to Have
- Founder Experience or very early stage start-up experience, with the ability to move through ambiguity to make progress.
- HR tech, performance management, or internal tooling experience, with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in these spaces.
- Background in developer tools or structured data ecosystems, with the ability to apply this knowledge to AI-native product development.
