About the Role
The Staff Product Manager for Team Foundations at Dropbox is a critical role that entails owning the end-to-end product strategy for the experiences that enable teams to form, grow, and collaborate across organizational boundaries. This role sits at the center of Dropbox's 2026 Teams strategy, focusing on restoring the Teams business to positive net license growth by addressing structural product, identity, licensing, and UX gaps. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining how Dropbox supports complex external collaboration and multi-team workflows, where work crosses company lines, involves contractors or clients, or requires one person to participate in multiple teams or products. This role requires a deep understanding of the technical foundations of authentication, account models, permissions, and billing, as well as the ability to turn these complex concepts into clear, trustworthy Core user experiences. As a key member of the product team, the Staff Product Manager will have direct exposure to senior leadership and will be expected to frame strategy, tradeoffs, sequencing, and risks clearly across multiple executive audiences.What You Will Do
- Own the end-to-end Team Foundations product strategy, with multi-team identity as the primary pillar and password-sharing monetization and monthly licensing as adjacent growth levers.
- Define how Dropbox should support complex external collaboration and multi-team workflows where work crosses company lines, involves contractors or clients, or requires one person to participate in multiple teams or products.
- Turn technically complex identity, access, licensing, and account-model work into intuitive Core product flows for joining teams, switching contexts, managing access, adding collaborators, and understanding what changes when someone becomes a team member.
- Lead a broad portfolio that includes multi-team identity as the primary focus, along with adjacent growth and monetization surfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to drive product development and growth.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Analyze data and customer feedback to inform product decisions and measure the success of product initiatives.
- Communicate product plans, progress, and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Make strategic decisions about product direction, prioritization, and resource allocation.
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on digital collaboration tools, SaaS products, or related technologies.
- Proven track record of success in leading product teams and driving product growth.
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
