About the Role
The Staff Product Manager, Finance Applications role at Reddit is a critical position that involves driving automation and efficiency in the company's finance applications. As a key member of the Finance Applications team, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing product enhancements and initiatives that streamline processes, minimize risk, and strengthen financial operations. The role entails collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and engineering, to identify business needs and develop scalable technical solutions.The Finance Applications team is part of the Corporate Technology organization, and the Staff Product Manager will play a key role in shaping the product roadmap for finance applications, including Zip, Coupa, Workiva, and NetSuite. The team is agile and close-knit, and the company values continuous learning, high ownership, and meticulous documentation.

What You Will Do
- Collaborate with leadership, product managers, and finance stakeholders to develop and implement the product roadmap for finance applications
- Document and analyze current business processes, conduct fit/gap analyses, and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Own platform management, including technical debt reduction, release upgrade coordination, and issue resolution for finance platforms
- Proactively explore and implement new capabilities within the finance applications space
- Work strategically with business teams to translate needs into scalable, secure solutions
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business systems analysts to design effective technology solutions
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including finance, accounting, and engineering teams
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in finance applications
- Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience as a product manager in finance applications, with expertise in procurement, accounting, and financial reporting
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel and experience with finance systems such as NetSuite, Coupa, and Zip
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud-based finance applications, such as Workiva and Netsuite
- Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or Java
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Certification in product management, such as CSPO or AIPMM
