What You Will Do
- Define the vision and technical roadmap for Mercury's Risk Onboarding team, aligning it with the company's overall strategy and goals.
- Lead the transformation of onboarding systems into the new agentic world, ensuring that they are secure, efficient, and meet customer needs.
- Gain a deep understanding of current and potential customers' needs, using this insight to inform product development and strategy.
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to develop and articulate metrics, requirements, goals, and features for Risk Onboarding products.
- Prioritize and detail projects with designers and engineers, ensuring that they are aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
- Lead strong, collaborative partnerships within the team, with executives, and broadly within Mercury to ensure successful product delivery.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market and Mercury's products, using this knowledge to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Leverage data and research to inform decision-making, ensuring that products are data-driven and meet customer needs.
- Drive informed decision-making, using data and research to shape priorities, define success metrics, and validate product bets.
- Deliver high-impact experiences, partnering closely with design and engineering to build intuitive, high-quality products.
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in product management, with a minimum of 5+ years spent delivering high-quality software products.
- Domain expertise in KYC/KYB/Identity, with a strong understanding of the fintech industry and its regulatory environment.
- Experience navigating and thriving in a highly regulated environment, with the ability to balance compliance with innovation.
- Ability to empathize with customers, deeply understanding user needs and translating insights into compelling product direction and value propositions.
- Strong ability to drive informed decision-making, using data and research to shape priorities, define success metrics, and validate product bets.
- Experience in delivering high-impact experiences, partnering closely with design and engineering to build intuitive, high-quality products.
- Ability to prioritize and execute with focus, defining clear requirements, making thoughtful tradeoffs, and leading complex cross-functional initiatives to successful delivery.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align stakeholders, ensure strong collaboration, and uphold high standards of ownership and execution.
