About the Role

The Staff Product Manager position at Twilio is a key role within the Onboarding and Compliance product team for Senders and Numbers. This team is at the forefront of ensuring that customers can access Twilio's communication APIs in a streamlined and compliant manner. As a Staff Product Manager, you will be responsible for owning various Senders and Numbers products, with a focus on creating onboarding experiences that are both easy to use and comply with local telecommunications regulations. Your work will directly impact how customers interact with Twilio's products, making this role both challenging and rewarding.

In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and GTM, to drive product planning, execution, and delivery. What You Will Do

  • Collect and develop business requirements in collaboration with engineering teams to translate these into user stories.

  • Develop, communicate, generate excitement for, and obtain buy-in of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Partner with GTM to launch products and enable sales and marketing teams to obtain product adoption and growth.
  • Conduct regular data-driven business reviews that analyze product execution and revenue/market accomplishments.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure that product UI/UX meets customer needs and is aligned with Twilio's brand and product strategy.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that product requirements are properly implemented and meet the defined success metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Manage and prioritize product backlogs to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Twilio's products, services, and customer base to inform product decisions.

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management in SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS, with a proven track record of leading successful product launches and driving product strategies.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills, with the ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to make product decisions and drive towards measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels and present effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and UI/UX design understanding, with the ability to dive deep while also keeping perspective on the overall product and business goals.
  • Experience working in a remote-first environment, with a strong ability to self-manage and collaborate virtually.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience with project management tools.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, and JIRA for data analysis and product management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
